Deirdre

James Alexander

Deirdre gave me hope,

was she who gave me dreams.

But Deirdre's cold fickle heart

is never what it seems.

Deirdre with skin so fair

and eyes as blue as the sea

accepted all of my charms

yet made no promises to me.

Perhaps I dreamed too much

for Deirdre was so exciting

and I set my hopes too high

for Deirdre was so inviting.

But Deirdre's cold fickle heart

never being what it seems

waved a cheerful goodbye

and crushed all my dreams.

Deirdre sounds like she too much for one man.

The 'Deirdre' in your life will be there for you James and you will know for certain that all will be wonderful.
