Frost

Lorna

Beneath our shoes

As we walk across the grass

Another day

Early morning calling

The rising of the frozen dew

As the sun lifts it gently back into the air

We humbly urge the sun to also

Lift it from our hearts

For it has settled there

    So wonderful dear Lorna
    And the lines -
“ As the sun lifts it gently back into the air

We humbly urge the sun to also

    Lift it from our hearts

    For it has settled there”
    So beautiful are they
    Such depth
    Great going dear poet
    Have a great day ahead

May that frost melt and lift your heart into wonderful times Lorna.

Yes, some here in UK too lately. Bit rainy in places now.
Dang it, trying to light this firework 20 times with wet matches! lol.

Such an poignant appeal in this shivery read - thank you too for the deeper meaning to those low in heart dear Lorna.

The sun rising, lifting our hearts.
We dream of this in Britain.
The only warmth this year, is Cop26, and even your President fell asleep at it. Got a feeling I was abducted from a hot country and brought to Britain to freeze.

    • Lorna

You changeling you..... get ye back to warmth and sun - but seriously, I'd love to be in Britain ....

      • Paul Bell

I would love to be in Spain, or even Florida.

        • Lorna

Oh yuck Florida.... have a repeat fast food restaurant every 6 blocks. And it's super Trump land. I'd stick to Spain if I were you......

          • Paul Bell

Is Trumpy still around. Thought he would be in deep freeze by now.

            • Lorna

We wish.... evil incarnate never dies.

              • Paul Bell

lol, you could deport him back to Britain.
