I remember the blue
Turning my way
It's not that there was anything
Particular to say
A gaze with a hook
That reeled me in
And a lasso round my heart
The hook remains
My heart still constricted
By the loss of you

I'm not exactly "moving on" am I Teddy. Don't want to.....
Very very beautiful Lorna. Those eyes watch over you with forever love. A smile will show your love in return. π
The one who was "the love of your life" will stay in your heart, your soul forever.
Pregnant with so much sentiment . The heart never forgets indeed. It's beautiful.
A thoughtful poem written with much care. Best regards Lorna ~
Itβs sad and so touching
Your close one looks at you from above
While you cherish the memories
Look the sky is volutes by the lovely blue
Even today he/she gazes with blue eyes at you
Very touching dear poet
'A gaze with a hook

(some 'hook's
are our blessings, in life
gift's, that surpass the hurt
they're tethered - to
designed, to anchor our heart's
to all the love
we've been lucky enough
to experience;
however steep, their burden
on our lives...!)
thank you for choosing to share, dear poet
a heart-wrenchingly, sincere and succinct
wording of majestic: Poetry!
That's a lovely, moving poem that's goes straight to the core.
Wonderful loving words Lorna, that hook will reel you in once again and you will be together once more for eternity.
