So what is happening?
What is happening on the estate,
The estate where I live?
I drive from my road,
As I join the main road
HE is standing there.
Several times I have seen HIM,
Standing in the same place.
Black jacket, dark grey trousers,
White shirt and black tie,
Immaculately dressed.
Just standing there and waiting.
Is he waiting for the hearse
To direct it the right way?
Or is he death just standing and waiting?

Haven't we all been there at one stage of our life. That repetative boring queue for a bus or waiting for a lift or even a well dressed bus-spotter!
I bet postmen/women can be accused of the same, even the same clothes.
Very true d a, I wonder?
Andy
Yes, real exciting - a bus-spotter! lol.
I see an odd chap dressed in suit and bowler hat often. Don't know where he goes.
Bus spotter - not dressed like that.
Andy
Ha - - A sample of what curiosity we poets possess dear Andy - - now you have me wanting to know why and what for that fellow was waiting.
You will not have to wait long Fay, I will answer it today.
Andy
The glass is half full or empty depending how one perceives this figure of man. Ominous, or inspiring.
Very true Garth, we shall see.
Andy
Are you starting to weird up, Andy? this is the second piece on unexplained phenomena you have presented recently.... Starting to worry a little....
Well if you have known Orchi as long as I have you tend to get this way. LOL
Andy
Oh come on - give Orchi a break - he's trying to decide whether he should become a Messiah - leader of a new religion. Tough call.
Every once in awhile you read a poem and you just smile - thanks Andy.
If I have made you smile Jon my words have not failed, thank you.
Andy
Such a deep thought left behind about the stranger who stands all while
A mirage to the eyes
Is he still alive
Well crafted dear poet
But now curiosity runs in our mind
Thank you spilleronsheet, I will give the answer today.
Andy
That’s great dear Andy
