You are not unlike the stars

James Alexander

You are not unlike the stars

that glisten in the evening sky.

They know not the beauty into

the souls of men they imply.

And like those celestial orbs

you blaze and yet cannot see

the incredible beauty your

vision imparts unto me.

What magic dwells in those

chestnut coloured eyes

which casts a spell under which

my soul yet lies?

A smile to crush any resistance

I have to your womanly charms.

Longing to be held and cradled

in your enchanted golden arms.

Your passionate caresses inflame

in me a burning desire of love

and transports my heart and soul

to a paradise far above.

You are as like the stars

that roam the midnight skies.

Unknowing of the grace and

beauty that is seen within my eyes.
