Lawnsome
Though much more a meadow than a lawn
Pray leave the grass alone she cried
Tis where my friends, wee beasties hide

What the Faik is a faikhu?
Though much more a snatch than a patch
Pray leave the pubes alone she cried
Tis where my friend's (note the apostrope) wee crabbies hide.
I need to go for a long walk I think. This lockdown shielding has been going on too long for me and it's starting to.......
a faikhu is a poetic form I developed & arranged the copywrite for around the millennium along with the mocku both are close approximations to the precise syllable counted haiku & senryu .. apostrophe noted .. enjoy that walk you old sausage ................................................................ 🙂
Your'e aggravating my dyslexia, Nev - dodgy haikus fook it up completely.
Great environmental message there though.
Kudos to dusk's little effort - that one is going on the back of the next bog door I can find. Kudos also to you for the inspiration...
he is indeed an inspiration .............. and thanks for taking note mate ............................... N 🙂
Is this a new invention? I thought so.
"Pray" seems a high frequency word recently.
just between myself and myself and me, I did develop the concept my friend ............... cheers for asking .. pray you are both safe and well ............... N

That reminds me - I still need to cut the lawn. LOL
Andy
tis the first cut is the deepest ...................... and remember, its the early bird that gets the worm ... 🙂
we need to find a way to heal your feud with that plague of a 'haiku'
(why, bless you) lol
I am such a stickler when it comes to preciseness ... the haikhu & the mocku were an attempt to help those who could not bend their own pen and mental muscle around true forms, find a way out .. Bless you too & truly L.B ....................................... N
I like faking the haiku too Nev. - never could scribble the real thing me - - -glad I caught this little example of approximate alternative and faiku for sharing it .........x
