Magic.
Swirling in oily rainbowing movement
the bubble traps time,
wraps beauty around eternity and vibrates
its world of fluidity.
Excelling in jailed soapy space-restraint
orb creates and encases
in outer fragile-thin globular skin layers
of gossamer jewelry.
Look closely at see-thru' glassy sphere
circle's mystic potential
caught in a universe of wondrous hues
whirl-entombed yet alive.
A globe in bursting lets fall what is first
indescribable but when
disappeared leaves awed bubble-magic
for an inner-child's mind.

And see how a sray of bubble floating on the breeze bring squeels of fun, laughter and chasing from the vibrant young souls of our children and pure joy to grown up tired bones nearby.
Yes your poetry brings us close to the wonders of that swirling oil opaque flesh of a bubble and the wonders of creation. Such simple pleasure full of mystery, imagination and yes, i say it again, joy.
So glad the read took you close to the wonders of young laughter at trying to catch bubbles - - good to experience the joy of children when chasing to burst their colourful swirls - -thanks dear friend for your lovely comment on Magic.
There is magic in the colourful bubble hovering in the air for that short time.
Yes I agree it seems the bubble enfolds many memories to all sorts of people Paul -thanking you for dropping by for a read of Magic.
Easily explained in terms of surface tension and all that, yet so damn reductionist . You've liberated the bubble, and cloaked it in just the right amount of your magic, Fay. There could be no more appropriate title here.
You are right Dave on remarking that colour in of bubbles can be scientifically explained but the excitement of watching them dance before bursting brings laughter and smiles whatever our age - - delighted you thought the title was apt and thanks for reviewing my take on Magic.
I never knew there was so much in a bubble. Well, I know now! 🙂
Thank you dear Orchi for your visit and comment on bubble magic.
what a delight it was to find this kaleidoscopic orb write before my very eyes earlier today .. and loved the poetry so much, it took my breath away the first time round ...

Thought you would like the idea of describing the inside of an oily wet globe when after dancing in air it bursts and sends sighs of pleasure to youngsters or oldies who chase after its rainbow - -- glad you had an enraptured first read Nev and do hope by now you got ya breath back.............x
The mystery of the bubbles art brought into wonderful words Fay.
Andy
Yes dear Andy we can peer at great art when watching a bubble arranging its colours and the mystery never ceases to amaze a poet.
