there
i found a place
where the dunes
fall to the beach
and watched
afternoon turn
as families strayed
homeward
there.
to think
and feel.
reflect
and cry.
to finally
accept.
there is
no why.

... I reckon, you are rapidly becoming a force to be reckoned with my mighty poetic friend ................... tis lovely no less ............... and near perfect ... Neville
Why? - the most unanswered question that exists. I wonder why?
Andy
firstly, I admire the creativity
of your aesthetically pleasing layout
especially as it adds
a symbolic meaning
to your poetry's choice wording,
and then, I just love the wordplay
in your lines:
' i found a place
where the dunes
fall to the beach'..
that whole thing, where
both are made of sand
and yet
by the perspective we're granted
one, is aligned with that feeling
of a seaside escape;
while the other
unless confronted, shall-ever remain
a mountainous obstacle
in our minds...
(really clever
and wonderfully weaved
showcasing
your poetic creativity, at its subtle Best
thanks for sharing Dusk)
Got to be one of your best and has to be one of my favourities. Great read my dear poet-friend.
The words laid beautifully in context
Adorn the eyes that you lay
I wish I could find the place that you found
It’s a place worth to stay
Well crafted dear poet
Good write Dusk.
Now for me next poem - 'Here'! About when I call Fido - 'Here, boy!'
I might do a series - Who, What, Where, everywhere, When, Why,...... heehee
Awesome, awesome, awesome. Great flow, profound in its simplicity & can totally relate.
Just a few words but the image is Wow
