I know - KP wrote me some letters when she was away having Botox (I'm cruel to her. lol) She said they got lost in the post, but I doubt it.

There's a lot to be said for a clean and final ending. Often an exchange of iffs buts and maybes is nothing more than a time wasting pre-cursor of the inevitable anyway. Save them for the dream world, it's less painful.

I don't know, dear Poet
if life has taught me anything,
its to treasure
the sharp, permanent goodbyes
seemingly overnight;
where as those murky, elongated separations
with their left-over bruises
that linger
only frustrate, for longer..
(somehow at just the title
I was already irked, by the memory's
it made me recall, names
I had imagined forgotten
waiting, in my mind's lost box
to prick, those rummaging tendrils
trying, to meaninglessly - recall)
another great shorty, and one
I'm sure quite a few can relate to
another much appreciated visit accompanied as always with its own thought provoking footprint .. cheers L.B .... N
Indifference walks off and can leave often - methinks good riddance to deliberate and insincere behaviour - -- get wise to those who may never say a simple goodbye - -- dunno why Nev but this for me was a right-rousing read ................x

Some words untold

That isn't a poem. That's just a sentence.
Poetry, like any other art form is much like beauty .. subjective .. in effect, in the eye of the individual beholder and whilst everyone is entitled to their own opinion of course, I welcome all comments, so thank you for yours ..
No it isn't. Poetry by definition requires meter, structure, and rhyme.
That is a prose sentence.
