Fairies

nakedheartcxliii

Dancing with the fairies under star speckled skies,

Conversing with nature, surrounded by fireflies.

Sad to say this only really happens in my dreams,

I fall asleep to the flowing of my tears; slowly ripping at the seams…

I don’t belong here, and yet even though this knowledge is so clear,

Where can I go when I need to disappear…

Hauntings of memories I never lived,

Fantasizing of the past I reminisce.

Hoping. Wishing. For a way out of this hell.

Clawing at my mind as the clandestine dreams attempt to entrap me again…

And yet, here I am…

In this wallowing world.

My mind clouded in worries,

If only I could dance with the fairies…
