it was as if

dusk arising

It was as if i had wings
and to fly, this wonderous flight
through enchantment's
night forest of peaceful content,
lifted upon translucent double wings.

I see myself, as I, ..out of body,
follow this flight through wonderland
amid cool friendliness of majestic elders.
Whispering, encouraging, reassuring
a cool airy creation of serene peace.

         And now,
aside a darkness of moon glazed lake
my winged lover reaches, a momentary embrace,
where a kiss of forever's promise dances upon our lips
turning to a joyous smile, then gone! are her impish eyes
and so teased by nymph agility I chase her delight,
low across the glaze, to our isle of promise.

Turning now beneath a quilt
of softening comfort,
peace eases me again
into the depths of slumber.
The reassurance of passion
becalmed my beating wings.

         As jealously the forest waits.

I would like to believe that you are just recalling a reality from a parallel universe and have brought us along on an immensely romantic journey

    Wow what a wonderful imagery
Your hand played magic dear Dusk
With sparkles of wanderlust you carried to a beautiful journey
    So beautiful and charming
Loved the last lines of yours
“ Turning now beneath a quilt
    of softening comfort,
    peace eases me again
    into the depths of slumber.
    The reassurance of passion
    becalmed my beating wings.

    As jealously the forest waits.”

Such endearing emotions rings inside my heart
So true connecting the reality of me
    And what finishing lines
    Marvellous
    “As jealousy the forest awaits”
