Rewrite the slate

Forget the past

Build over the present

Forget what others tell

You can’t waste your limits proving them

Ultimate goal is not to define them or you

But for you to reside at higher pedestal

For you to attain your nirvana

Your peace rests within you

Cherish and don’t let others trample you

And even then if they trample

Don’t value their tramples

Don’t let them create a hype

If somebody tells to work

Don’t be obstinate not to work

But work more

Shine sharper and louder than they think

No marks no remarks define you

They never did

No other soul can understand you

You, my dear your on your way

To make a beautiful fort

Your special

Don’t let others mock you to be a commoner

    Dear Spiller,

Peace rests in us and the ultimate goal is to attain Nirvana. Very Well Said..
Life is a testing ground for us. A Ore of Gold Shines brightly only after its put to flames. So let the flames burn us, to purify us wholly externally and internally. Be a spectator and watch the play of the Almighty !!
One more touching one from you !!!

    • spilleronsheet

Thank you so much dear Vamsi
      When the world mocks,
      a poetry gets formed
      When the world questions
      The answers come from within
      When your alone
      Your muse accompanies you
So well said let the ore be put on flames
As they burn, a miraculous sight it is
Purify within and outside like a camphor burning on a platter at side

      • Vamsi Sudha

Very True !! And poetry springs in a silent and in an isolated heart !!
Because great things always happen silently !! 🙂

        • spilleronsheet

          That’s the power of silence
And that’s what I am practising nowadays

        • Goldfinch60

True words spilleronsheet, Nirvana is within us all when we listen to our inner selves.

          Andy

          • spilleronsheet

            Indeed
I am trying to find peace
            When it resides inside me
            How fool I am
            To look elsewhere

          • L. B. Mek

            powerful! your zeal and belief
            in these words you share
            just jumps-off the page,
            such positive and inspiring themes!
            thanks for sharing, dear poet
            (but, allow me to indulge
            in a little commoner, love
            see, I don't think we're all
            meant to forge our names
            in the annals of humanity
            some of us
            can find solace, in being
one of the group, a member
that shines, once in a while
            just enough
to know, our lives are worthy
            of existence's, abundant gifts
            without, having to feel
            like the sun, rises
            just for us...) lol

It’s truly a privilege to live a normal life
But aren’t we living extraordinary managing so many things
We aren’t what we used to be
We aren’t what our forefathers were
At times I wonder we are progressing too hastily
              But you rightly spoke
It’s nothing bad to be a commoner
It’s just when ordinary lives are mocked then they shouldn’t be voiceless

            • Lorna

Well said and the hardest thing ever is to quietly live inside oneself and not let others too far in to disturb peace of mind -

              • spilleronsheet

                Yes
Indeed dear Lorna that’s exactly what I mean
Let nobody disturb the peace within
