You found my fuming ashes
When you wandered in the woods,
You built me up, cherished my flame –
You were the picture, I was the frame –
I kept you warm in my arm',
I almost burned you, but you were calm.
I anchored you for a while,
Until you thought my fire cooled down,
And then you just walked away –
I was a stop before your bay.

Your own bay will be there for you soon anna.

Good one - and let her rise like a Phoenix from those ashes!
Beautifully done.
