Where are you Mary

Neville

Where are you Mary

You’ve always known I’m no fan of November

so why have you left us

like this all alone .. Don’t you know,

we already miss you ..

and with your guilt on our conscience

like some permanent scar

We are just another series of disasters, merely

waiting for December to happen ..

            somehow,
            a gust of mourning's wind
            that's not mine, to emote
            or partake - in, invaded
and I had watery eyes, while reading
            your lines
(I'm sorry for your loss, my friend
may, she forever: rest in peace)

                    Neville,

Today is one of those days for ‘us’ to weep, to grieve, to hurt, to commiserate, to cope with our loss, to focus on the happy moments we shared, tell her how much she’s loved, and that one day we will be together again. Your beautifully penned poem is very relatable. May they both Rest In Peace.♥️♥️

That was neat and easy to relate to, Nev.
My problem is I am talentless when it comes to condolences - words from me seem so inadequate.
