Tenderness escapes me
has eluded me for years.
Can no one see my value?
For this I shed no tears.
My heart is like an empty room
for no other soul but mine.
Filled with empty dreams
biding the passage of time.
The flame of youth long past
like embers in the hearth,
beaten down by sorrows
did no one see my worth?
Then from nowhere did you
appear, by fortune so it seems
and with love and tenderness
gave life to my empty dreams.

Sad but beautiful writing )
Life can be sad, life can be cruel but hope endures.
Finding love can be a long, lonely waiting game. Be wary of being to susceptible though. Loves bites!
I have been bitten many times and found out the first bite is the deepest.
Well said for hope and love!
Hope and fortune to find that one great love in your life.
