White dance
Of frozen dew
Risen from summer halcyon mornings
Now sifting through gray skies
Melting in eyes as they look up
As ever before
Sweet tasting
But still the wonderment

Lovely, your words are like a light dance upon the carpet of white.
I wonder what surprises climate change will bring us this season. Better not put those dancing shoes away yet.
Awww how sweet...... and climate change is a worry but the nice snowplow man will help me get through. I no longer do that myself (ah bliss)......
A simply wonderful read of the magic snow brings - thank you Lorna.
Bing helped a lot...... besides all very well poetry but after a while aren't we sick of the stuff...... OK for December though!
A fine write Lorna, and a 'classical' song! I'm in the clip probably, being quite old. lol.
Oh so you CAN sing! I always suspected......
Dear Lorna !! Few lines but conveys meaning very well !!
Thanks!
you just nailed it Lorna .. it aint just children that look skyward and in awe now is it .....................
that white dance of frozen dew does it for me every time .......... N
Who says we're not children!
The first snow of winter, just makes you want to go somewhere hot.
Oh, forgot, that ain't allowed is it.
Sure it's allowed! Run if you can!
Snow has its wonders, for even the grumpiest amongst us can melt, specially when coated white in words as yours
That first fall of snow can be so mesmerising - until you need to go out in it. LOL.
Andy
