There are times in our life when we stop,
Stop and be quiet and think.
Those thoughts assemble themselves,
Assemble themselves into order,
And those problems are seen clearly,
Clearly enough to sort them out.
So never underestimate that value,
That values of stillness,
As it could be the most important,
Most important lesson in our lives.

Good write Gold.
Wish I was still. But I'm continuing learning to sing. It's a hopeless pursuit for me. I'm off to lesson No. 7643 now!
Thanks Orchi.
Yes how true - stillness is vital dear Andy and "a most important lesson" - -- good weekend reflection and thank you for sharing it.
Yes stillness in our lives can bring so much within us.

Tis almost th the same as the way sleeping on a problem often provides a different perspective.
It surely does d a.

More so now than ever. With the nonstop din of modernity we all need stillness/quiet in our lives less we get caught up in the maelstrom.
Very true John, that maelstrom that is out there needs some stillness within us to deal with it.

Taking a moment to stand back, to breathe, take in a slow deep breath and contemplate on all that is and all that can be. Wonderful write Andy. 😊
Thank you AP.

Andy,
You’re so spot on with with your brilliant write. I’ve always believed in ‘stillness’ and made time for it. I call it my ‘me time’. As of late, I devote more time to my ‘me time’. It rejuvenates me in thoughts and deeds.
Thank you for penning and sharing your beautiful thoughts. Wishing you a wonderful weekend.

So kind Laura, enjoy you 'me time'.
