Neither a coal to leave a dark impression 

to fuel the inside 

Nor a diamond to sparkle on finger 

 

nothing but a sack of carbon 

Wonder this composition of carbon with so much around 

sparkles the diamond one day 

a mere carbon, I must say….

    Makes me think of emptiness … atleast that’s my thoughts whilst reading this poem … that feeling of emptiness we get , when we just want to feel so much more

      Maybe it can encompass so much more
      It’s fascinating how the element of carbon behaves
      Sure emptiness is a way that many a soul feels a nowadays

          You brought the base of Diamond, Carbon. Every carbon does not turn to be a diamond. Carbon in high stress and heat turns out a diamond.
          Same way....let the carbon of you turn to be diamond !! its time now, you have taken the heat and stress !! You are turning a diamond soon...:)

            Yes I don’t mind being a coal too nevertheless being a diamond is a great deal
            Maybe yes heat and stres taken enough
            Now it’s time to enter the arena and beat the carbons around
            Conquer as a carbon one day
