There we were playing croquet in the sun.
Buzzards flew above us,
Red kites flew by,
Woodpeckers were heard,
Natures symphony around us.
Such a wonderful place to be
At one with Nature.
I looked up and saw them,
Saw four of them,
Roe deer trotting, jumping and running,
Running around a field nearby.
We all stopped and looked at them
Enjoying the wonder of Nature’s beauty.
They trotted off to their life with Nature.
We continued our game
But my life felt so much better
As I had seemed to become
Part of Nature’s world.

You lucky fellah, it's rare to see the beauties these days.
It surely is d a, it is the first time I have seen roe deer for a long time.

I saw some very 'English', stiff upper lip croquet players outdoors as a storm was brewing. They'll carry on playing!
Yes we play in all weathers, we have a sign written on our foreheads - IDIOT!.

Now that's what it's all about. Nice one GF
A beautiful sight I can imagine. Lovely.
That it was Rozina.

I read, closed my eyes and imagined
travelling within the blades of your words, weaved of earthly grass
and lost myself within the clouds of your poetry's Vivity...
another beautiful reading experience,
you've chosen to share, my friend
(such sublime positivity, expressed
within this, of all months
how I laud you strength and zest for life)
Nature a doctor
Nature an entertainer
Nature a teacher
Nature a friend
Nature my mother
Nature my family
This beauty you depicted so well
I lost myself in the serene picture you painted
Thanks a lot dear Andy
Nature is all those things spilleronsheet, thank you.

Very true Neville.

Croquet with the added bonus of deer performing their silent ballet sounds an idyllic afternoons pleasure. Better than using flamingos and hedgehogs like Alice ☺. Truely enjoyed your imagery and retelling of your day.
So kind woundedheart, thank you.

Practicing for the sleigh ride I imagine and you were lucky enough to get a peak!
They may well have been but Rudolph must have been relaxing somewhere.
