Tune and Hymn: 'Come ye that love the Lord'
Psalm 90 v.14-17
********
Satisfy us early
With your grace and mercy
That we may rejoice and be glad
That we may rejoice and be glad
All our days, not e'er sad
All our days, not e'er sad
Make us glad according
To where troubles did bring
Us affliction, and years evil
Us affliction, and years evil
Restore, that we do well
Restore, that we do well
Let you work, Lord, appear
To us your people here
We your children and your servants
We your children and your servants
Who sense true your presence
Who sense true your presence
And too let the beauty
Of the Lord on us be
You our Lord God, do establish
You our Lord God, do establish
Our works complete, finish
Our works complete, finish

- Comment from author about the poem: A hymn-poem in 6.6.8.8.6.6. metre. I've not put in a Chorus. I forgot it had one, then had 'closed off' the poem.

Thanks Jerry.
I'm all spent up ................................ well it is Crimble after all ......... N 🙂
Thanks N. My own prosperity plea is - 'Give us yer dough; all contributions gratefully received'. lol. Heck, I sound like that church that I rant about.
Filling up with faith now.
I'm starting to listen to choirs now.
Oohh good! Thanks Paul. I'm rather traditional, and like 'proper' choirs. Not too many 'chorus' type things, sung about 5 million times in a row! Feels like that many anyway. Doh!
I'm bit fussy about things like yeah, hey, and oohh, etc in songs. Bit naff I think.
Good one Orchi.
Thanks Gold. You gonna sing this season, partly to drown me out?! lol.
Excellent write and great set of music
Thanks Dave.
Erm, I didn't really got the hang of it (joking). My pleas was 'All contributions to me gratefully received! lol.
