The final rehearsal was over,
We were ready,
Ready to give our best,
To sing our songs to others.
The enjoyment we brought,
Brought to ourselves by singing
Just cannot be explained,
All are so uplifted
And that joy we hope to give,
To give to the audience
As we sing our songs to them
So that they may leave the concert
With such joy in their own hearts.

All will be super, OK, wonderful, as long as I don't turn up to join ya. If I do, you'll have to sing loud to drown me out! lol.
Thank you Orchi. We will always be able to drown you out. LOL

It will be final if I turn up! heehee.
Will allthe choir be wearing face masks? Muffled voices were heard in the corner.... has it begun?
Just be very careful my friend, I don't want to rread that youve gone down with omicron
NO but I have insisted that they take a laterel flow test before turning up for the choir and that if it is positive NOT to come.
The audience will have to wear masks, normally we include the audience in three hymns but not this year.
I will be careful, thank you d a.

Send you all my best hope the concert goes with a bang. Nothing more beautiful than up raised voices in harmony the closest we ever come to God is in our singing and our dancing as the good book says. 🎤
Thank you for your kind words WH.

I read this after the actual performance poem so it's a prequel for me Andy! You sound so happy - that's great!
Thank you Lorna, yes it is so good to go back singing once more.
