Some are from parents
Others are not
Some we develop
Some we've already got
Those with perfect vision
May still be so blind
Very clever people
Can be really unkind
Now if I could be tall
Be fit and so pretty
An A1 parent with
A great personality
If I could be brave
And also be lucky
And enter my numbers
And win a huge lottery
If I could have these
And do a mix and match
I could evade that Covid
And any oncoming batch?
Sigh! We have what we have
Do the best that we can
I'll think of another
Great idea and plan....

Good words Rozina, we are what we are and all we can do is the best we can with what we have got.
Andy
Yes that is true but still lovely to daydream sometimes of fantastic combinations and permutations!
After years and years of struggling with such questions, I am now of a mind that Que cera cera..... Your words Do the best that we can sums it up! Good one Rozina....
Thank you. Although I would still make a wish on a shooting star (not seen one yet!) and every year when blowing candles on my birthday cake (but too many now so can't blow them out in 1 breath!)
Bunch the candles closer together - sometimes that works.....
Haha! Or use 1 bigger candle to represent 10 years etc….
Would send you my lottery numbers, but they're dire. I think we're all getting covid at some point, having had it myself. Onwards and upwards.
Sorry I don't have any magic formula to win lotteries nor 'lucky' draws! Thank you for your comments.
Yes indeed, very well said Roz .. these words deserve to be seen by so many more folk here who without doubt I'm sure would appreciate them and relate to ... six perfectly formed four lined stanzas that both say and ask so very much ...................... Neville
Thank you.
That second stanza is something else - I don't want to unpick it... It has a truth there which is best expressed where it is...
Yes I have met such people. Thank you for reading. Appreciate your comments.
