Tune: Winchester New
('On Jordan's bank the Baptist's cry')
Matthew 11 v.2-6
*********
Now when John Baptist in prison
Had heard of works of Christ, God's Son
He sent to Him two disciples
Of his to ask if true is this
They said to Jesus, are you He
That should come, or another be
The Promised One, the Messiah?
They did there with Him enquire sure
Jesus replied, said, Go and show
John again the things you hear, know
And that you see, the blind receive
Their sight, the lame walk, no deceive
The lepers are cleansed, the dead raised
The poor have the gospel appraised
It preached to them, and blessed are they
Not offended at me today

Nice work Orchi!
Thanks D. You might not get the parley with Teddy, who has trouble with her teef (teeth) because I keep using alliterations in my titles! It's nutty. lol.
Ah, that's what that's what about. I figured it was some inside joke.
It's barmy - eccentric?! lol
Haha
Good one Orchi.
Thanks Gold.
