Not always sad
Often mellow
Familiar as the sky
Or winsome eyes
Hair ribbons and oceans
Forget-me-nots, harvest bells
Choose their colors so
Dress their days
Said to be true
Its language is deep
The evening glows with it

Good write Lorna.
Blue being my favourite colour, though living in Britain, never see it.
Wonder if I was kidnapped in Spain as a child.
I think we are all changlings......it would explain a lot
Beautiful words capturing God’s creation of unique beauty of nature
Thank you Audrey!
My dear Lorna,
I see you have a theme going on with your latest postings.
Blue is one of my favorite colors…
lucky me …said one of my doctors. He advised me to keep a blue lamp lit in my bedroom after I got home from the hospital. He said it would help me to stay calm and I would heal faster.
You’ve masterfully penned the words that bring “Blue” to life.
Thank you for sharing.đź’™

Ah Laura and I hope you are getting well my friend. Glad you found the good in blue and not the sad......
Which colour should I call best
Your colours make me change my taste
I guess I will be in love with every colour of yours
The way you weave the tales
I won’t deny
I await the colours wed with emotions to read
It’s such an exotic poetry you place
Love you loads for your so different and unique efforts dear Lorna
Thanks SOS! Wait for the end and then let me know which is your favorite color! I love your poem questions above!
My favorite color. You brought it out so well. Thank you, gifted one.
So happy you liked it....
Azure and cobalt my favourite shades, bluebells silently chiming in wild open meadows , you paint such a myriad of images all intertwined into one colour and one beautiful poem. Very pretty
Lovely poem. I am really enjoying your colour theme.
My first cat was called Blue ♡ A special colour.
Love this, the colour, the poem. Waiting for the rainbow colours one by one.
Beautiful words Lorna.

Blue skies where I am......not. We have a summer of rain ahead of us this year - and the next..
Yes - blue has deep personal memories for me, so thanks Laura
