I rose from my bed,
I looked out of my window,
The moon shone on me,
The new day of my good life
Did shine on me so brightly.

- Comment from author about the poem: Life is good. The tune is being played by Alan Barnes and David Newton who I saw at the Jazz Club I went to last night, they played this tune.

.... And then I went back to bed
Sleep is good
So is waking into another day.

Thats the positivity i love to read, the same positivity flows through me too in these troubled times though i wish i had such a moon to welcome my waking..... LOL my body clock is all over the place. Often i ignore normal hours and sleep well into the daylight... there's little harm in it whilst the pandemic is rife.
Thank you d a, yes, being a lark my friends find it quite amusing when I fall asleep on the croquet lawn in the afternoon. LOL.

....And then it rained?!
Well, no, not if the sky was clear.
Good write Gold.
Even if it rained you must remember that skin is waterproof.

Jazzy poem or maybe a skatty poem, such beautiful moonlit imagery you paint serenely with your words.☺
Thank you WH, much appreciated.
