Tune: Binchester
('Happy are they, they that love God')
Philippians 2 v.1-5
********
Exhorting to humility
Paul, he asks if there be
Any consolation, intent
Any encouragement
If there any comfort of love
From the Spirit, the dove
And if there any fellowship
Of the Spirit, friendship
And if any warm affection
And mercies, any one
To fulfil his joy, that we be
Like-minded graciously
And that we have the same love for
Each brother, sister sure
In Christ, agreeing in one mind
Blessings for others find
Esteem others better than self
Not only our own wealth
Look not only on self's own things
But what each in Christ brings
Let this mind be in us, which is
In Christ Jesus, true this
Life of love and humility
His service freedom be

It's engrossing
Thanks N.
Love for all is Love for oneself
A selfish love is a thorn
A selfless love is happiness for itself
In his garden
We are roses that breed
Happy and harmonious with bees
A very good one Orchi
Thanks S.
