Silent shame festers; in the shadow of
Christmas, though his enjoyment in
Relentless avarice; ebbs and flows like an
Ocean’s tide, the greater force is by far too
Overwhelming, thus, in a near death, written by a
Grotesque realisation, he turns over a new leaf, to
Embrace with his fellow man, with a thankful heart!

- Comment from author about the poem: A major figure in classic English literature, who is celebrated this time of year; is obviously Ebenezer Scrooge, and his story of his road to redemption to become a better person is re-told in a myriad of adaptions. I feel that the masterwork "A Christmas Carol" by Charles Dickens, is an amazing piece of redemptive text, so I felt compelled to write this acrostic poem, which is accompanied by a piece of clipart work of Scrooge embracing Tiny Tim. I hope that you enjoy the poem, again have a Merry Christmas and as always, please stay safe everyone.

Brilliant acrostic Ben.
Strangely my son is in Amateur Dramatics and they have been performing "A Christmas Carol" all this week, the last performance is tonight.
