Dusty paths

Poetic Dan

Many strangers have turned into friends but this one I've yet to let poetry express

As always this came out of the blue, a deep connection to things we'd been through

Nature helped seal our bond, as we openly look at the things we got wrong

Letting the tears of our fears direct us to a space we hold dear

This is our trauma and our pain to float until we feel the gain

Although no one can take it away, many will walk beside us for better days

In the music or poetry sun and rain, life is moving in many ways

A gift and a curse to be who we are, saviour and destroy with others just playing their part.

Woven in the fabric that covers the heart, to live like you own it from the start.

To walk alone but never lonely down these dusty paths, becoming part of the kaleidoscopic art.

Sometimes we all need someone to walk beside us man was never meant to be a solitary creature, nicely penned.

"Woven in the fabric that covers the heart, to live like you own it from the start"... So much courage infused in these words. A piece of fine art Sir.
