The Taking of Innocence

Neville

The Taking of Innocence

Beneath that now

famous

cheesecloth dress

Their

scattered DNA

suggests

She tried so very

hard

to cross her legs

and

hold her breath ..

Not having

once ever dreamt

of being

forced to kiss

through clenched

fists and

teeth like that before ..

I share your anger on this subject. Not least for the reputation it casts upon the innocent male majority. But of course mainly anger on behalf of the violated.

If it was not such a serious theme - it's my fault!
My version is: I made her kiss me, nothing more. Well I had just been eating garlic! lol.

That too makes me angry, how anybody can hurt anybody else is such a dreadful thing in my mind.

Birds are easier to understand … and animals .. maybe ,

Least there are a lot of kind people in the world … but if only everyone was that way .. look how much nicer the world would be !

Well written with such few words. It made me feel disgusted...yet I am thankful for you for sharing.

Literally a bitter piece of a despicable whole, told in the most definitive of its unfolding. A poem I hate to love, but love nonetheless. Well done sir. I felt it.

The closing of eyes won’t die the sad and anguish truth the society hides
A heinous crime like this boils the inner core
The respect and dignity stripes without caring about another soul
                        Well placed are those lines
Though tragic and pointing to inhumanity of mankind
Wish people could respect others choice
Even satan can’t define the evil those mind store
                        Felt sad while reading this
And yes the word anger can’t be hidden
The news lace with such incidents
Don’t know where the full stops lie
Wish the heinous devils could stop making such crimes
