Tune: Regent Square
('O'er the gloomy hills of darkness'
OR ' Light's abode, celestial Salem')
Psalm 47
********
O clap your hands, all you people
Shout to god with triumph all
For the LORD most high is awesome
Unto Him give worship, come
He a great King o'er all the earth
Bring him praises, sing His worth
He shall subdue people under
Us, help unto us confer
Nations shall be under our feet
God on His throne, mercy-seat
He shall choose our inheritance
For us, promised land from hence
God is gone up with a shout, He
Gone up with trumpet's sound be
Sing praises to God, sing prises
Each to Him voice up raises
For God the King of all earth be
Let all praise Him joyfully
Sing praises with understanding
He the Lord o'er everything
he reigns over the nations, He
Sits on His holy throne, see
All be gathered unto Him for
To give Him glory e'ermore
