I have no one to talk to

but I don’t mind.

I have no one to comfort

but I don’t mind.

 

I have no one to walk with

but I don’t mind.

I have no one to sing with

but I don’t mind.

 

I have no one to love

but I don’t mind.

I have no emotional ties

but I don’t mind.

 

I have no stores of money

but I don’t mind.

But I do have my poetry

and that I do call mine.
