Sincere Serving

orchidee

Tune: Sandys

('Teach me, my God and King')

Ephesians 6 v.5-9

*********

Employees (or servants) , do obey

Employers (or masters) every day

With honour and respect, sincere

And too you serve Christ here

Not with eye-service, when

Employers watch you then

But as servants of Christ, doing

Will of God in each thing

Serving from your heart, do

Serve as to the Lord true

Not solely pleasing men, for you

have heavenly Master too

Know that whate'er good thing

Anyone does, serving

The same shall they receive, the Lord

Shall give them, true His word

And employees, act fair

To employees, good share

Forbear threats, knowing your Master

Is in heaven, He there
