Twenty Twenty Two (A Hopeful Acrostic)

AuburnScribbler

Terrified I am, of the twelve months that have

Woefully passed, so please, I implore to the

Ether, that you bring good tidings, that you provide

Nourishment for all, thus, work your magic, to

Tie cosmic bandages; on those wounds, that are

Yearning for cleansing, and for determined devotion.

Tame this plague, that has catastrophised a broken

World, that again repeats it’s mistake of delving into

Excruciating division and dissatisfaction, please, regulate

Negativity, and make room for mending, as too many

Triggers, will see this globe dead, so I implore you, focus, as

Yielding is not an option, as this life will be lived courageously.

Thrill me, thrill us, ensure that we can thrive, as we cannot

Waste any more time, so please, be a Happy New Year, an

Overwhelming burst of light, that will guide us to our smiles.
