The New, New Day.

I wake up into this new day,

The first new day in this new year.

The last year has gone

So I move forward into this new year,

The next year of my long life.

 

As with every waking I know I am alive

And will be meeting family and friends.

Throughout the year.

 

Each day I awake is a bonus,

As I know all will be right

And my life will be so good.

 

So to all of you I send good thoughts

And know that all will be well

As we move into another fine year.
