Angel said to Mary, Fear not

For favoured is your lot

And behold, for you shall conceive

The power of God receive

For by His Holy Spirit you

Shall be the mother true

Of His Son Jesus, He shall come

On earth shall have His home

 

He shall be great, and shall called be

Son of the Highest, see

The Lord God shall give Him the throne

He shall rule, He alone

O'er Israel and all nations

Mankind of all stations

Of His kingdom there shall be no

End, this revealed, this know

 

The holy child which shall be born

On that redemption morn

He shall the Son of God be called

God's promises not stalled

Elisabeth your cousin there

In Judah, too shall bare

A son*, with God no impossibles

Shall be, He fulfils all
