Well-Being Water

orchidee

Tune: Woodlands

('Tell out my soul')

Isaiah 12 v.2-3

*********

Water of life you offer to us here

We come to drink of it, sparkling and clear

Your promise be that with joy we shall draw

Water out of wells of salvation sure

We shall rejoice and praise you with one voice

To quench our thirst your water is our choice

It flows a spring, an endless full supply

Who drinks of this resource, they ne'er shall die

To satisfy, to refresh, make us whole

To replenish and satiate each soul

For you the LORD JEHOVAH our strength be

Our song and salvation eternally

Help us so trust, not be afraid, you will

Come to us, grant us your refreshment still

Enough for all, wells deep enough to be

Fulfilling for us through eternity

Love your orientation toward the Lord throughout your write! Yes, he satisfies and refreshes and makes us whole! Your poem is a lovely celebration of this truth. (I know we have not met, but I think you have a discordant word that harms the beauty of your poem and I don't want that for you. Verse two, line one...did you mean 'voice'? Is this autocorrect striking again?)

Thanks GD. Oops, yes - can't be praising the Lord with 'vice'. lol. Will correct typo.
