New Horizons

FallenAngel1πŸ•Š

A new poem a day

Keeps my demons away

Though not always easy finding the words to convey

what I'd like to say

But not today

I'm done with my pain

I've shared enough

I'm out of the rain

It was rough

I win'this'game

it was tough

I'm on a new path

Leaving behind all my pains wrath

I hope to be cleansed as though my very soul had just stepped out of the bath

Naked I'll stand in all my glory having the last laugh

As I declare myself victorious beyond your craft

For future pain I do regret

But bridges be bridges

Bridges crossed when bridges met

And no,I'd never bet

I'll ever forget.

I thought you had gone sailing, with the title of this poem - looking over vast horizons, etc, etc. lol

I have been sailing. I've been sailing through MPS and I have to say,..the woundeful sights have been so outstanding. They've been so enlightening to me in more ways than one. Thanks orchiπŸ˜€πŸ»βœŒοΈπŸ•Š

Boldly go as a man should go but do not cast off from the past. Let each memory rest in the wrinkles of the straps which carry your sack of baggage.

Good luck as you travel towards new horizons.

You should be reciting thus backed up by a jaz quartet in some smoky night club on the lower East side. Good stuff!

May those bridges be crossed and they will lead you to a better life.
