Love is an abstract noun
It is seen all around
Does not confine to a single one
Manifests in different forms
Keeps you awake when your parents are down
Clasps the hand of your little one
Makes you flutter when your spouse is late
Puts a smile when your loved ones gain
Leaves you aghast when they are in pain
Manifests in different forms
Anger, duty, sacrifice or a routine you perform
Deny its existence you may
Beside whatever you say
Love keeps the world moving around
Friendship, devotion, respect are different forms

an adjective that's both noun and verb
a maturation of Latin's
'caught in the act'
or so google translates..
a fitting, choice wording
for your powerful portrayal
of the choices, we're empowered
by our very existence, to make
or have blind fate
dictate, for us..
'caught in the act' of life
'manifesting' our whims
into our horizons ideals..

Love is truly a multifaceted gem and you captured its variety ☺
Thank you wounded heart. Love is a balm that can do wonders. We seldom recognise this. A teacher punishing a student may be out of love and not of vengeance but at that age we never understand
And this is one of the most beautiful description of love that blossoms
