Be my light in the darkness
my hero that helps save me
from my personal sorrow
I don't belong here
hid away in the shadows,
but it's the only safe place I know
demons are family now
all I've ever known...
You be my creep
and Ill be your weirdo
as our bodies entwine in the sheets
changing the mood entirely
with lips, limbs and sweaty libido
craving that sensual touch of flesh,
wanting the flick of fingertips,
begging for the delicious tongue to lick...
Till we're spent and the excitement passes
our personal demons cry out in the night
while faking a smile in daylight
I'll be your light in the darkness
let me be your hero and help
save you from yourself
you don't belong here
hid away in the shadows...

to cope with suffering's erudite hollowness
knowingly bearing down, on all
that we crave to rebuild
as that whole, we once
took for granted;
back when shadows
were mere magic tricks on walls
to play around with...
(I laud the way you weaved
such despair and ache
between your light-hearted lines,
a harrowing write to contemplate
but a poetic delight, to simply read)
