Tune: St Clement
('The day thou gavest, Lord, is ended')
Romans 11 v.33-36
*********
O the depths of the riches, here see
Both of God wisdom, knowledge be!
How unsearchable be His judgements
Ways past finding out by human sense!
For who has known the mind of the Lord?
Who can give Him advising word?
Or who has been His counsellor wise
No humans have, e'en if one tries
Or who has given unto Him first
And He shall repay them? Who durst
Believe He be in our debt, owing
Us, when He to us gives each thing?
For of Him, and through Him, and unto
Him, are all things, He Lord, 'tis true
To whom be glory ever, ever
Amen, praises flow cease never

Amen to that my friend. He is all things to all men that allow him into their hearts, beautiful hymn. 💟
Thanks WH.
A wonderfully penned poetic tribute here orchidee, the rhythm and rhyme is most definitely a child-like thank you to a father figure.
Bravo, and I hope that all is well!
Thanks AS. But it's bad news. I'm gonna sing 'ever, ever'! lol.
You're very welcome orchidee, but don't you worry, you bloody well sing loud and proud! Haha!
Aww, why they play instruments louder, just to drown me out?! heehee.
Good one Orchi.
Andy
