The Pain Life Holds

I'm done with my poems of pain

They've wreaked so much havoc upon my mind

So close to driving me insane 

Through all those years reciting them blind

 

Reciting them blind and in my head

No audience permitted 

And now I find it to be said

The pain life holds cannot be outbidded

 

But now and then I'll pen a pain

Though not about its rage

My storm has eased and now just rain

i'll pen about its wage.

    Thanks Goldfinch,..I think our deepest pain never really leaves us. The best we can do is manage it.
    "My storm has eased is and now just rain" the storm is the grief and heart wrenching deep pain,it eases but never really passes completely. Thanks again😀🍻

              I’ve had so much emotional pain in my life

              I like your writing )) sometimes it’s nice to write about nicer things 🙂

              Good that the storm has passed .. rain is a bit nicer .. maybe it will then turn into sun lol
