God's servant, He the Lord Jesus

Sent from heaven unto us

The Lord God said, It a light thing

That you to me the Jews bring

 

I will also give you as light

To the Gentiles in their night

That you may be my salvation

To each and every nation

 

Even unto earth's farthest end

I my salvation shall send

In an acceptable time I

Have heard you, to you drawn nigh

 

And in a day of salvation

I have heard you, each nation

Shall I gather to me , through you

Who fulfil my mission true

 

You shall give them light for darkness

Shall provide pasture and bless

Them, they shall not thirst nor hunger

You their satisfaction sure

 

Sing, O heavens, rejoice, O earth

Praise the Lord, give Him His worth

For He comfort, mercy has shown

Unto us, these we have known
