Empty Can.

Goldfinch60

I looked out of the window

To the front garden,

And there on the lawn was a tin,

An empty tin

Thrown there by some flaming peasant.

When I went out,

Went out to get my paper,

I picked up the can,

It was an empty can of lager.

Why don’t these peasants know

I do not drink lager,

I only drink real beer!

It's another respect issue or maybe i'd go further, it's a sign of contempt. Just return the emotion. I get all sorts thrown into my garden, I just keep my head down.

So true d a, it is just contempt for all.

Probably a can from when I infiltrated the factory that makes the lager. They found it diluted, with the water I had added, spat it out, and tossed the can in your garden! lol.

Probably very true Orchi. Revenge is a dish better eaten cold - just watch out.

I've had masks, empty plastic bags, empty cans thrown into the garden or right outside the gate. Contemptible indeed.

        • Goldfinch60

The number of masks I see littering the streets nowadays is just awful. Not had any in the garden - yet!

          'Why don’t these peasant's, know'
          cos they ain't realised yet
that Kardashian-'esque' way of cheapening, life
          is a true peasant's
          self-degrading way, of escaping reality
          and not
          that get-rich-quick, scheme
          it's made-out, to be
          so cheap alcohol, aplenty
to drink their self loathing's, depression
          in-to their unattainable: Tomorrow's..
and the cans, well they're for hurling
at all those houses, priced seemingly
          so far, out of reach

          • Goldfinch60

Such true words Mek, thank you.

            Hahaaa
            That was fun
A fresh humour sending a laugh ear to ear

So good to bring a smile to peoples faces, it is one of my goals in my life.

You use the right word for this kind of behaviour my friend - - contemptible indeed and those who sling their rubbish about have not learnt a thing about respect.

              • Goldfinch60

Thank you Fay, there seem to be many of these people around.

This is what is wrong with the country. People just can't read. I don't know how many signs I've put up in bold. Chivas regal drop off point. I mean, how hard can it be.

                • Goldfinch60

Yes they ignore my Laphroaig Triple Wood sign as well.
