thanks for pointing out the difference between
want
need
                          and
love
i took your advice
                          to do anything
on those rare occasions
when i could separate all three
                          but those bats
so often found a home
in my belfry days
and the leather cloud of wings
blinded my heart.

    Meat Loaf was always true to himself, did not let fame mess him up or chase after hits at the cost of his soul. He sort of knew his strengths and his limits. And bore down on those strengths. He'd be happy to know you were paying attention!
