You must be crazy, if you want to be lazy,
coz’ you’ll seize up, and become really hazy,
so, use up that energy, to dance like Swayze,
or maybe play a part, penned by Scorsese,
perhaps, tickle those ivories, like Count Basie,
or spit out those bars, like the rapper Jay Z,
but whatever you do, shine bright like a daisy,
as nothing will come, if you choose to be lazy!
Though thinking about it, it might not be crazy,
to just sit around, and choose to be lazy,
as proactive crimes, makes life so hazy,
thus, you can say this phrase, “don’t blame me!”
As you didn’t leave the house, to set a blazy,
to add to the hate, that really does faze me,
coz’ if you get up and go, you may wilt the daisy,
that gives you oxygen, that you need to keep; gravy!
But maybe, move around a bit, to fix the hazy,
else, everything you’ll see, will remain crazy,
for you, could be the change for the better, maybe,
so, get up and go, to tend to that daisy,
that’s covered in the grime, of our indecency,
thus, set a bright example, that would amaze me,
as a fantastic result, would be the birth of ecstasy,
by a generation; that decided, not to be lazy!

- Comment from author about the poem: A bit of a nonsense/rhyming challenge poem here, but, I think it does have a message, that asks us to be cautious, on the times we decide to act, and the times we should not act. I hope that you enjoy the poem, and as always, please do stay safe everyone.
