like an old pair
of comfortable slippers
dragged to my feet by time
that little bit wisdom in my step
has made many questions clearer
and i know now that
if I am to find a path to heaven
then it will surely lead me
through my own well tended
gardens of hell to get there

I am sure those gardens will let you through to the heaven in your life d a.

I don't think I've any choice in the matter. It's just my way of saying that although i might think of myself as being a good person, there are parts of my history i have to answer for.
that very same principle applies to me mate .. and a whole load of other folk too I imagine ............ a seriously good & thought provoking little masterpiece on offer today DA ................................ Neville
For me it's case of the past catching up with today's saintly me lol. Thank you for the compliment sire.
Challenges of life to overcome to get to peace and serenity. Meaningful indeed.
Thanks Rozina, its just me feeling guilty for being a bad lad when i was younger. Those "born again" types seem to think the past doesn't matter.
A true masterpieceπππππππΎβοΈπ
Cripes! Thank you sir.
I myself being a Bastian of society have already had a nod from the big man. Though, for some reason, he's still nodding.
That wisdom helped you write such wonderful lines
Telling us about different experiences of life
Since angels live in heaven
Your like an angel bestowed on earth to write beautiful poetries
A powerful and insightful stanza here dusk arising, splendidly written.
I really do hope that a paradise can be found, after wading through those sinister gardens.
Bravo, and I hope that all is well!
We all have to walk through a little hell, but the journey to heaven is surely worth it.
