War Dance

Jerry Reynolds

January ends
Covid descends
Tanks and guns
Aimed at friends
Neath shining sun
A war dance begins

Cor Jerry, you're right on the ball today sir! It's not looking good around ukraine. Here in UK most of the covid restrictions are being lifted, we've done very well with the jabs here but there are still a hardcore minority who refuse to be jabbed.

      Thanks, Dusk.
      Hopefully cooler heads will prevail.

A poetic statement which hits where it hurts - what a sad old world when friends are tanked down - - you nailed it well in these few lines Jerry.

6 lines that reflect so much of happenings. Amazing.

So true Jerry. We can but hope that sanity prevails.
