We had known each other for many years,
We had chatted and smiled at Church,
Appreciated each other’s company.
Then came that day,
That day I asked her out,
Asked her out for coffee.
We sat drinking our coffee
And we talked,
We spoke of many things.
We met again for coffee,
Gave each other lunch,
And throughout all that time
We talked,
We just talked and talked
And found so much in common.
It meant so much to me,
And meant so much to her
That now that acquaintanceship has changed,
And has become a friendship,
A friendship going so deep
That we are becoming best friends
And would do anything,
Anything for each other.
That friendship has become wonderful,
So very wonderful.

Good write Gold.
I thought it might be about me and Fido. It's certainly not about me and KP. I have to tell Fido all my marriage woes. He listens!

That's the way all the best relationships start. A little step heading to a long walk.
