Tune: Luckington
('Let all the world in every corner sing')
Psalm 9 v.7-13
********
The Lord He shall endure for evermore
'Tis a truth sure
He has prepared His throne
For judgement, He alone
Shall judge world righteously
And too shall justice be
The Lord also will be a refuge strong
All day, night long
A refuge for the oppressed in their times
Throughout life's rhymes
Their times of trouble, they
That know His name, His way
Shall in Him put their trust
Though man be made of dust
For the Lord, He has not forsaken meek
Who do Him seek
Sing praises to the Lord, to Him who swells
In Zion, tells
Each one, and they declare
His doings, they them share
He forgets not the cry
Of humble, does draw nigh
To them, and shows them His mercy, and keeps
Them as His sheep
