Illusions

John Prophet

Mirage.
Inside.
All’s
inside.
What’s
sensed,
a
mirage.
Images
formed
in the
mind.
Illusions.
Energy
passing
through.
Vibrations.
Energy
vibrations
coursing
within.
Converted.
Universe
in the
mind.
All
mind
configured.
Pure
energy
outside
converted
within.
Energy
fields
pass
through,
transforming.
Transformed
inward.
No mind.
No universe.
Behold.
Reality
within.

That reality is within us all and that is what we must cling onto in this world.

      'conceptualisation of matter'
      divided, by
      'cognitive capacity, of humanity'
      then
      multiply, that figure
      with what we get, from
      Universe
      by
      Infinite...
(yeah, the odds aren't in our favour)
      so why not just
deal with the maths, we can handle
      like:
      kindness
      divided, by
      awareness
      and
      multiply that moral virtue
      with what we get, from
      'sincerity of self'
      by
      'loyalty, to those who matter'...
(yeah, nothing as concrete as a new building
to contribute to the aid of the homeless
      but,
we do get something, to gauge
      our worth, by
and anchor our self assurance, upon...
      sounds like, better maths
      to me)
      there's a great questing
      for some semblance of balance
      in your write, dear poet
I imagine your write like a thermometer
with one (destructive) extreme, at the outset
      being distilled/drilled
into its opposite extreme, at the bottom..
your style really helps unfurl your points
      in an accessible manner,
